How I Turned My Koi Hobby Into A Business

My first Koi Pond was hardly more then a mud hole, a lot has changed since then. I built my neighbors, friends, and most of my church members first ponds, they are still going strong today and that has been over 10 years ago.

I have to admit there were a lot of trial and errors, hair pulling and tears shed over the loss of Koi. But through it all I have to say it has made me what I am today- my friends say I am an expert I say -NO WAY- I think I still have a long way to go. But I do learn from my mistakes. Which is why I created this website, I wanted to help others and spare them the frustration of what I had to go through. Hopefully I have accomplished that.

How do I go about sharing my helpful information to others? This question led me to search the internet for help in creating web sites. Boy, did that cost me alot of money. I never knew how many people actually got paid to Lie and Cheat others. I have to say though that I was one of the lucky ones because, I found Site Buid It before I lost hope and and quit the idea all together.

My goal with this site was (and still is) to introuduce proper Koi and pond keeping, I never thought it would bring in money. But that is exactly what has happened. I have also learned so much. Where before I was not familiar with the internet at all, I am now very comfortable with the internet.
