Green Clean Liquid’s professional strength formula quickly tackles the toughest algae problems and is perfect for spot or full volume treatments. GreenClean Liquid is also excellent for eradicating filamentous mats.

Green Clean Liquid is an alternative to chelated copper chemistries. It can be applied in copper restricted areas and there are no run off or usage restrictions.

Green Clean Liquid utilizes an activated liquid peroxygen chemistry to control a wide variety of algae on contact. This chemistry is an alternative to copper algaecide for treatment of ponds, canals, lakes, reservoirs, drainage ditches, commercial water features, and irrigation systems.

Unlike other aquatic algaecides on the market today, GreenClean Liquid works on contact through its patented formula to control algae in water. GreenClean Liquid immediately begins fighting algae blooms, releasing vital oxygen into the water body as it biodegrades. GreenClean Liquid is a commercial-strength product for use in various commercial and industrial water treatment applications, including aquaculture.

Activated peroxygen chemistry utilizes a stabilized form of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and pairs it with peroxyacetic acid (PAA). These two compounds create a potent oxidation reaction. Working together, PAA and hydroxide (OH) break down algae cell walls and then annihilate it from the inside out. The reaction works quickly; eliminating any chance of mutational resistance.

As the algae-fighting reaction takes place, the hydrogen peroxide and PAA break down into natural compounds: water, oxygen and elements of organic acids.

Use GreenClean Liquid to treat water to prevent and control algae and bacterial slimes that can cause increases in BOD, COD, and bacterial organisms that can cause odors.

As with any algaecide application, we recommend a follow up dose of our Pond Keeper beneficial bacteria to help degrade the resulting dead algae. Pond Keeper should NOT be added sooner than 48 hours after GreenClean Liquid or any other algaecide application.
